We hold the standards of a global company and the heart of a local one.

John Douglas founded Kick Building at the end of 2021, returning to Byron Bay after more than a decade working across Australia and the UK. With 18 years of experience spanning project management, pre-construction and delivery, John has worked on projects ranging from complex commercial builds along the eastern seaboard to high-profile fit-outs in London for clients including Uber, AXA and TomTom.

He came back to build something different. A company with the rigour of a top-tier firm while maintaining the soul of a local one.
John brings more than experience to every project. He brings the right people. A trusted network of architects, trades and consultants who share his standard for quality and his commitment to getting it done.
